What was the brief?
DS Smith required a full groundworks package for the construction of three industrial units, with the challenge of working near a live watercourse and dealing with a high water table and contaminated ground.
STEP TWO
What did Octane do?
Octane carried out precise groundwork, including constructing precast and gabion basket retaining walls and a private substation. They also built a piled access bridge and conducted S278 works for road connections.

The project resulted in the successful completion of foundational and structural work under challenging conditions, providing DS Smith with robust new industrial facilities.
